Your next steps, now that you’ve purchased an event ticket on Eventbrite:

  1. Login or Create a SCHED account. Use the same email account as Eventbrite to link your ticket to your event schedule.

  2. Browse panel discussion and events below and build your schedule. Events fill up fast, so grab a seat now! Be sure to sign up for the MotherSHIP Main Event on Tuesday evening, full of great pop up events and opportunities to meet new and old friends!

  3. Make your schedule and profile public so friends and colleagues can connect with you during the event. Fill out your bio so attendees can learn more about you. Connect your SCHED account to social media to share with those you know attending the Regatta. See your Account Settings.

  4. Join our online community by using #SEAWIT19 and share the events you’ve signed up for on social media so others can join you in demonstrating support for Women in Tech!

Shea Harty is the Managing Director of Empowerment, a social enterprise that helps companies with their sustainable employability agendas through team building, cross-cultural communication, leadership programs, inclusion and belonging, redundancies programs, and more. Their non-profit Empower Amsterdam believes in creating inclusion and community for foreigners in different cities. They help unemployed international professionals get back to work faster with free career coaching and workshops.

Shea started her career with HR SAP implementations helping programmers and end-users communicate their needs. She continued in human resources with recruitment, talent management, information systems, and compensation. Alongside running her social enterprise and non-profit, she coaches female entrepreneurs to shift their mindset from employee to owner and helps them gain clarity about their business to grow their clientele.

Shea was born in New York and lives in Amsterdam with her husband and four children.
