Engineering Program Manager

From the inner working of cloud systems to the outer working of managing people, every day I get to run at the nearest hard problem, double-wielding people skills and technical acumen.

I manage technical programs and lead development teams to simplify, standardize, and stabilize software automation for our cloud infrastructure. My perspective is enriched from working onsite and remote all over the world with engineers from many different countries and cultures. I draw upon my own experiences as an immigrant and an outsider to inform how I lead and cultivate people on my team.

As a gender-unconventional queer person, working in tech offered me a way to freedom and self-determination that was not at all available in my midwestern home town. Working in tech has taken me so far beyond what I could imagine for myself. My deepest motivation in my work is to create that kind of possibility for everyone. The best possible future asks for all of us to take part.
