Julie’s career spans multiple industries (healthcare, retail, wholesale manufacturing, technology) where she has held roles with as much variety (sales rep to CEO). A biology major in college, she went from ‘cell’ to ‘sell’ beginning her corporate career with a fortune 50 company in sales and sales leadership. Dramatic pivots and risk-taking have made life and career interesting. A love of travel (and hiking the Inca trail) led her to found and run a women’s travel apparel company for 15 years. Her latest shift, into tech, landed her at AWS in a role where she works with customers to leverage technology to address their business challenges (the perfect role for an extreme problem solver).
 
A sailor, yoga instructor, and ardent cook – Julie lives in West Seattle and does as much of this as possible (along with her husband and teenage son). She is passionate about supporting and empowering people to embrace the unknown (and change), tap into their creativity, and claim their transferable skills to manifest their goals and dreams.
